CyberPets

Welcome to CyberFlight's CyberPets. These are the cute little monsters that live where the CyberFlight server lives. In fact, it is quite possible that they are better system administrators than we are. The little kitten above is named Filix (the cat and the FAF for GAI...coincidence?) He is an Ocicat, a cross between something cool and something else cool. I'll look up what it is sometime. He's ever so cute, so I took a number of pictures of him that will be reproduced below. The non feline one next to him is "BooGold" who named himself. You see, he used to be named "Spike" but he kept correcting me by saying "BooGold" so that's his name. If you click on their pictures, you'll get the full sized ones. Warning, they are rather large.

The other evil CyberCat is Spot the Wonder Cat. He is a very naughty thing, and makes nasty web pages when we're not looking. Spot is 13 years old and was abandoned on the side of the road in a box with his 3 siblings. Spot had ringworm and had to be bathed 2x per day. He really hated it. Happily, he has recovered well and is now spotting all over the place.

The above was written 6 years ago... yes, time flies when you're on the net. Spot the Wonder Cat departed this earth at the age of 19. We miss him very much.

This is the Green Chicken. At least that's what she says over and over again, as in "I'm a Greeeeeen Chicken." Wav file to follow sometime. Her real name is Midori and she's so ever loving cute screaming bloody murder at 7AM

This is the C2 Cockatoo. He says "Hello cockatoo" and is a "reverse rooster." He crows as the sun is going down. Nasty cockatoo. We raised him basically from the egg, having owned his parents the late great Herman Hiss and his wife Louie. C2 lived with us for years at InterCon, a progressive software company that is now a part of Lucent Technologies.

Here is Filix caught in "mid mew." He is a very vocal kitten, and also very beautiful. He is currently 8 months old.

Filix loves living in his box. He comes out to be a silly kitten, then runs back inside and hides for a bit. He's getting used to the place.

Here is a closeup of Filix's beautiful markings. He almost looks like a snow leopard. Not quite, but close anyway.

Tragically, Filix lived to only 6 years old. Inflammatory Bowel Disease got the poor baby. *sigh*

Not Quite A Pet, but on video nonetheless is a silly raccoon who comes to visit a lot. This is a REAL movie file.

Sylvester. Unfortunately, Sylvester lost his fight with lymphoma and died in my arms 5/4/99. Special thanks to SouthPaws who tried to beat the odds and save this wonderful cat. He was 14 years old, and probably the best cat I've ever had. He is sorely missed.
